
Product Filter & Search "the App” provides an all-in-one solution to find the product instantly: advanced multi-option filter in the collection, search pages plus the smart auto-suggestion in the search box "the Service" to merchants who use Shopify to power their stores. This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify-supported store.
Read_Products
This includes products and collections. We need this permission to sync the product, collection data between your Shopify store and our app for filtering and searching features.
Read_Orders
This permission from Shopify includes full details of placed orders (*). We need this permission to support the Analytics feature of calculating Order Revenue from our app. In the Admin app. The merchant also has a setting to disable this feature as well as this permission.
(*) Customer personal information in orders is opted out during our webhook processing process. No store customers' personal data are stored in our app.
Read_Content
We need this permission to sync and index the content (pages, blogs) for searching feature.
Read_Themes, Write_Themes
This permission allows us to read store’s themes information for the auto theme setup process.
Read_Locales
This includes store locales and languages. We need this permission to detect and support multiple languages in your Shopify store, ensuring content is displayed correctly across different regions.
Read_Translations
This includes translated content for products, collections, and other store resources. We need this permission to sync translated data so our app can display accurate localized content.
Read_Locations
This includes store locations. We need this permission to identify fulfillment and inventory locations for accurate stock management and availability display.
Read_Inventory
This includes inventory levels and inventory items. We need this permission to sync product inventory data and keep stock information up to date in our app.
Read_Customers
This includes customer data. We need this permission to read customer information for order-related features and to provide a personalized experience where applicable.
Read_Markets
This includes Shopify Markets configurations. We need this permission to support multi-market stores and ensure pricing and availability behave correctly per market.
Unauthenticated_Read_Product_Inventory
This includes publicly available product inventory data. We need this permission to display real-time inventory availability on storefront-facing features without requiring customer authentication.
Unauthenticated_Read_Product_Listings
This includes published product listings. We need this permission to access storefront product data for displaying and syncing products used in customer-facing features.
Read_All_Orders
This includes all orders in the store. We need this permission to sync order data for analytics, reporting, and operational features within the app.
Read_Discounts
This includes discount codes and automatic discounts. We need this permission to read existing discounts and ensure compatibility with promotions created or managed by the app.
Write_Discounts
This includes creating and updating discount codes and automatic discounts. We need this permission to allow merchants to create, manage, and apply discounts directly from our app.
Write_Purchase_Options
This includes selling plans and purchase options. We need this permission to manage subscription or recurring purchase configurations when merchants enable these features.
Write_Products
This includes creating and updating products and variants. We need this permission to sync product data and apply updates initiated from our app.
Write_Orders
This includes creating and updating orders. We need this permission to support order-related workflows initiated by the app.
Read_Publications
This includes sales channels and publications. We need this permission to determine where products are published and ensure correct channel availability.
Read_Metaobjects
This includes metaobject entries. We need this permission to read structured custom data used by the store and integrate it into app features.
Read_Metaobject_Definitions
This includes metaobject definitions. We need this permission to understand the structure of custom data and correctly map metaobjects used by the app.
Read_Shipping
This includes shipping zones, shipping rates, and delivery profiles. We need this permission to read shipping configurations in your Shopify store to ensure accurate shipping options, rates, and delivery settings are supported by our app.
Additionally, we collect the following type(s) of personal information from you and/or your customers once you have installed the App: Information about you and others who may access the App on behalf of your store, limited to your email address (encrypted database); Information about individuals who visit your store, such as their IP address (***), web browser details, and time zone, date/time stamps on the particular device.
We collect personal information directly from the relevant individual, through your Shopify account, or using the following technologies: “Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable cookies, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org. “Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address (***), web browser details, and time zone, date/time stamps on the particular device.
(***) The IP is converted to the geolocation data of state and country and the IP is removed after that process. No IP address is stored in our app databases.
We use the personal information we collect from you and your customers in order to provide the Service and to operate the App. Additionally, we use this personal information to: Communicate with you; Optimize or improve the App; and Provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.
We do not and will never share, disclose, sell, rent, or otherwise provide personal information to other third parties or companies (other than to specific Shopify merchants you are interacting with, or to third-party apps or service providers being used by the merchants you are interacting with) for the marketing of their own products or services.
Still, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful requests for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
If you are a European resident, you have the right to access your personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information is corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.
Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. We receive the store data information from Shopify platform through Shopify API and Shopify Hooks.
Our retention practices are: for the store owner, data is stored in our app databases and is stored as long as the store owner continues using the app; when the store owner uninstalls the app, the data is deleted.
For order hook, all personal data is deleted as soon as the app receives the order hooks; no personal data is retained for this kind of information.
For application logs, data is collected for application analyzing, monitoring and security purposes, and is kept in 3 months (***).
